PSA for players, support for this game is now "limited". If you have an issue that causes you to lose gems/rewards, and support will not help you, request a refund from the play/app store. To be clear, this is not to be punitive, if you lose gems you've purchased or rewards you've spent said gems on due to game issues, AND you cannot get help from support, you are entitled to a refund.
As a player, it's pretty crappy to cut support without notifying players, especially after advertising a Halloween gem sale, encouraging people to pay for an unsupported game. At least let people make an informed decision to spend, knowing they're on their own.
As a business, it's understandable that you would cut dev/support for a game, for a myriad of reasons. Could be unprofitable, lisencing or contractual issues, etc. But, this isn't the only game WB has, many people playing this game have also played the SOW console games, Batman, all the lego games, etc. Cutting dev and support while still attempting to milk the player base for money is bound to sour plenty of people on WB games.
All that being said, I'll keep playing for a little while, because I enjoy the game and playing with my fellowship. I just wish WB would either put out an announcement of some kind, even if it is acknowledging that the game is on it's last legs.
